Web Design
Why choose standUP for your Web Design?
We're different from many other web designers in that we're web designers with marketing and business skills too so before we start designing your website we want to make sure that the end product will really benefit your business and the plans you have for it.
The web design process - what's involved?
The standUP website design process usually involves:
- Your website strategy - so we can build you a website with the end goal in mind
- Your web design document - we put this together with you - it's about the 'look', structure and functionality of your website
- Concept web design - we'll produce visuals of your proposed web design (based upon your web design document) - your web design will support your brand not work against it
- Website build - once you're happy with the concept we'll start to build your website
- Practice website - we'll upload your website onto our practice servers so you can get to know your website and Joomla! content management system (CMS) in a safe environment!
- Your website goes live! - once you're happy with your practice website we'll transfer the whole thing to your domain name.
Web design costs
The question on everyone's lips is "how much will my website cost me?" and we're not being evasive when we say "how long is a piece of string?"! We can build you a budget website for a few hundred pounds and an individually, fully designed, lean-coded, all singing, all dancing website for considerably more - the cost of your website is influenced by the things you want your website to do, how you want it to act and how you want it to look. When 'buying' a website remember the old adage - you generally get what you pay for - the more you want, the more it will cost you... that said, budgeting can be accommodated at standUP.
Phased web design costs
To make it more manageable for you we spread your web design cost throughout the web design process. We can also design and build your website to a phased plan - that's why we put together a website strategy with you. What you initially 'go live' with might not be your ideal website straight away - but it will have the capacity to grow and evolve over time to suit your budget and your business plans.
My website's live - now what?
Now for the really good stuff! When you have a live website you can really start to make it work for you by starting your SEO and online marketing activities in earnest. A website development programme will work in tandem with your SEO campaigns making sure your website develops in line with your website strategy, budget and business plans.
We also recommend a website maintenance programme to keep your website secure and running smoothly.
